Winthrop, Maine YMCA Camp Wedding | Rose & Dan!
This Winthrop, Maine YMCA Camp wedding was so up my alley… a beautiful summer camp on a lake with good food and great people! I photographed Rose & Dan’s East End engagement session and they were just as chill and relaxed on their wedding day. These two met in Maryland (where Dan grew up) while they were both in grad school. When they got in touch with me, they were living in Utah, both studying water quality for different agencies (they’re geoscientists!). They have a connection to Maine since Rose grew up in central Maine and her parents live near the YMCA Camp, so it just felt right to celebrate…

This wedding at On the Marsh Bistro in Kennebunkport was just fun from top to bottom, all thanks to Emily and Anthony’s easygoing style! When I first met these two, it was one of those coffee dates where it finished up and I thought to myself “oh my gosh, I hope they’re as excited as I am because I reeeeeally liked them!”. Afterwards, she sent me an e-mail saying “It was wonderful to meet you on Monday and after our conversation, Anthony and I turned to each other and simply said ‘Yep!'” — I was so relieved!
