Camden, Maine Elopement on a Boat | Heather & Tony!

Camden, Maine Elopement on a Boat | Heather & Tony’s sailboat elopement was about as dreamy as it sounds — just a handful of us out on the open sea! Heather found me on Offbeat Bride and I was SO excited when she contacted me — who wouldn’t be?? She told me how they lived in North Carolina and she had never been to Camden before, but “if I had, what fun would that be?” and I knew right away we’d get along. They chose their wedding date based around when the boat and I were both available, so saying they were laid-back is kind of an understatement. They just wanted the ceremony, and the day, to be focused on them and their love — no “wedding crazy”, as Heather put it. So they chose Camden after Tony had raved to her about it and they found an awesome sailboat that would take them for a little spin around the harbor and it was perfect. We did a First Look at the Camden Public Library and walked around a bit taking portraits before we met up with Captain Aaron Lincoln who took us aboard the Cutter Owl! He was fantastic and told us all kinds of stories and history during the cruise. They exchanged some simple vows out on the water and it was just… well, it was awesome. 🙂
