This intimate wedding in Southwest Harbor, Maine, was basically my ideal day — I’d do weddings like this every day of the week if I could! I met Kayla a little while back when we did boudoir photos together (twice!). She got in touch about her and Silas’s wedding in Acadia and I was so excited! It was literally just the two of them and two of their close friends — one as an officiant, the other as a witness. Southwest Harbor Elopement | Julie & Travis | Mount Desert Island, Maine
This Southwest Harbor elopement with Julie & Travis was absolutely amazing, especially as we were enveloped in a thick fog out on the rocks! These two live in Mississippi but came up to Mount Desert Island, Maine to elope, and actually had traveled up to northern Maine by seaplane just a few short days before their intimate ceremony. These two met because they are both skydivers and pilots, so “conventional” isn’t really a word in their vocabulary. 😉 They had just their close friend (who also drove up to Maine), the officiant, and myself and my assistant present, and we had SO MUCH FUN.
