Elopement at Portland, Maine City Hall | Erin & Lewis!

This elopement at Portland, Maine City Hall was so sweet and hilarious — Erin & Lewis sure know how to celebrate! I absolutely love photographing elopements — LOVE THEM — so when Erin got in touch, I was super excited to go along for the ride with them! They live in Massachusetts and had a larger wedding the following year in Vermont, but they wanted to do something small and special for their actual ceremony. They actually kept these photos under wraps for a bit until all of their friends and family knew they had gone for it! I got to spend a bit of time with them at the Portland Regency while they got ready, and then we ventured over to City Hall on a chilly but beautifully sunny day. They did their ceremony right in the clerk’s office and then we took some portraits around the area. These two literally DID NOT STOP LAUGHING and it was infectious. 🙂
