This Maine backyard wedding in Parsonsfield was even more magical than I expected it to be — Hannah & Adam are absolute GEMS. These two live and work in South Africa as part of the C.A.R.E. program — they rehabilitate chacma baboons! So they were planning VERY long distance, and with the help of family. I was lucky enough to not only meet them on one of their trips back to the US, but to do their engagement photos on another trip (they did them on Cliff Island since Adam spent summers there as a kid and his family still owns several houses out there!). Elopement at Portland, Maine City Hall | Erin & Lewis!
This elopement at Portland, Maine City Hall was so sweet and hilarious — Erin & Lewis sure know how to celebrate! I absolutely love photographing elopements — LOVE THEM — so when Erin got in touch, I was super excited to go along for the ride with them! They live in Massachusetts and had a larger wedding the following year in Vermont, but they wanted to do something small and special for their actual ceremony.
