This elopement at Portland, Maine City Hall was so sweet and hilarious — Erin & Lewis sure know how to celebrate! I absolutely love photographing elopements — LOVE THEM — so when Erin got in touch, I was super excited to go along for the ride with them! They live in Massachusetts and had a larger wedding the following year in Vermont, but they wanted to do something small and special for their actual ceremony. This wedding at Mariner’s Church in Portland, Maine was just too awesome — Shelley & John are two of the most laid-back people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting! Shelley found me through a mutual friend of ours, and I was so happy she did. These two actually ended up doing a separate ceremony a few months before the big party. They wanted to do something smaller and more intimate for that part of the day, but then have all of their family and friends come out for a larger reception later on.
