This is Lianna & Katy! They’re getting married down in Massachusetts, but they really wanted to do their engagement session up by Sunday River. Lianna had seen the Artist’s Covered Bridge in photos and she was sold! My assistant Kim and I made the trek up north (and luckily a big snowstorm passing by missed us!) and had an awesome evening with these two ladies. 🙂 We started at the bridge and then drove around Newry for a bit before winding up back at the bridge to finish up!

This is Sarah & Lizzie! Sarah found me on Offbeat Bride and was very interested in having me photograph their Portland wedding, letting me know up front that they were only looking for someone for a few hours, and that it would be a very casual day. I love casual! They were married at Grace, one of my FAVORITE spots in Portland. It was originally a church, built in the 1850s, and is now a bad ass restaurant and bar (and excellent wedding venue!). They were married in one of the rooms inside, and had their reception in the large main room of the building… such awesome character and decor…
