These bright and happy boudoir photos with Michelle are some of my favorites because of how smiley and joyful she was the whole time! Boudoir can be such a freeing thing because, as awkward as it can be to pose in your underwear in front of someone who is more or less a stranger, that awkwardness often transforms into contagious laughter and before you know it you’re having a great time. Katherine & Kyle’s Ocean Gateway wedding was such a sweet, intimate celebration. Katherine told me early on that their mantra for the wedding was “keep it simple” and I think they achieved that while still bringing such elegant beauty to the day! We did their engagement photos in Portland as well, so the city holds a lot of meaning for them, despite living down in Massachusetts (Kyle’s parents live in Cape Elizabeth so Maine has always had a soft spot in their hearts).
