This wedding at Caswell Farm in Gray, Maine was magical — live music, comedians, bonfires, cupcakes, food trucks, what more could you ask for? These two were referred to me by a colleague and friend of mine (thank you, Tricia!) and told me about their reception plans. They were going fairly untraditional with their plans — they didn’t even do a ceremony, just went right to the mingling and fun! — and wanted a “creative, talented, queer-friendly” photographer to be there to capture the fun in a more candid, documentary-style. This is Alisa & Kim! You might remember them from their apple orchard engagement session. They won a wedding photography contest I held in celebration of DOMA being defeated — yipee! Their wedding took place at Broken Acres Farm in Jefferson, Maine — a sweet little spot nestled in about 100 acres of gorgeous Maine scenery. It was a grey day but luckily the rain stopped early on and we were treated to some gorgeous fog (and blue skies later on!).
