This backyard wedding in Portland, Maine was so very sweet and laid-back — just Ellen and Kaelin with their closest friends and family! They decided to get married at Ellen’s parents’ home in Portland and it was the ideal place for an intimate celebration. They did the ceremony in their beautiful backyard, which had a hill leading down to a perfect, secluded little clearing. We went to nearby Baxter Woods for their couple photos, and then they came back for some snacks, toasts, and mingling with their favorite people!

This Cranston, Rhode Island wedding with Alanna and Joe was just as casual and love-filled as I expected it to be after meeting these two! I met them when we did their Bissell Brothers engagement session and they balance each other out so well. Joe is more soft-spoken while Alanna is bubbly. Joe is quietly thoughtful while Alanna is loudly laughing. They are an awesome couple and I just knew the wedding day would follow suit! They actually had a two-part celebration.
