Maine Backyard Wedding in Parsonsfield | Hannah & Adam!
This Maine backyard wedding in Parsonsfield was even more magical than I expected it to be — Hannah & Adam are absolute GEMS. These two live and work in South Africa as part of the C.A.R.E. program — they rehabilitate chacma baboons! So they were planning VERY long distance, and with the help of family. I was lucky enough to not only meet them on one of their trips back to the US, but to do their engagement photos on another trip (they did them on Cliff Island since Adam spent summers there as a kid and his family still owns several houses out there!). Emily + Travis | Engaged! | Buxton, Maine Engagement Session | Maine Engagement Photographer
This is Emily & Travis! They were married in August, also in Buxton, and when we chatted about their engagement session, Emily quickly came up with the idea of doing it at home. They were both SUPER nervous about being photographed (don’t worry — most people are!) and figured that by doing it at home, they would a) be more comfortable, b) have more privacy, and c) could have some built-in activities (like building a fire in their fire pit and gardening) to take their minds off of the camera snapping away!
