Katherine & Kyle’s Ocean Gateway wedding was such a sweet, intimate celebration. Katherine told me early on that their mantra for the wedding was “keep it simple” and I think they achieved that while still bringing such elegant beauty to the day! We did their engagement photos in Portland as well, so the city holds a lot of meaning for them, despite living down in Massachusetts (Kyle’s parents live in Cape Elizabeth so Maine has always had a soft spot in their hearts). Cumberland, Maine Family Session with Jamie & Dan!
This Cumberland, Maine family session with Jamie & Dan and their four children was one of my favorites of the whole year, in large part because of just how incredible and personable all of these amazing kids were! Lots of kids are nervous to be photographed, but this gang warmed up right away, and they really played off each other to get each other laughing, goofing around, and posing! We did some of the session at their home in Cumberland and then we headed to a nearby beach for some photos of them playing in the sand and exploring.
