This is Jared & Kirk! Jared first got in touch with me when I was running a contest for free wedding photography to celebrate the defeat of DOMA! I chose another couple as the winner of the contest but we ended up talking more about their wedding and, lucky for me, they booked me! I felt honored, as it was obvious to me from the very first e-mail how head over heels in love these two are. We met up at Two Lights State Park in Cape Elizabeth for their engagement session, and they even brought along their pup, Vegas! 🙂

Head Shot Day! | Maine Head Shot Photographer
Yesterday a few fellow photographers and I got together in Scarborough for a head shot afternoon! A bunch of us needed new head shots and were all interested in trading with each other so I figured why not take photos together!? We met at Vickie Gelinas Photography’s (almost finished) studio in Scarborough which was fantastic — we had TONS of gorgeous wooded area at our disposal, and we had the indoor portion of the studio so we could run inside and get warm. 🙂 It was hilariously fun to just hang out with these other photographers and laugh, talk, have a beer (or hard cider) or two, and get amazing…
