This is Laura & Daniel! They actually eloped to Washington, D.C. in December 2011, but wanted to have a bigger celebration with family and friends. They rented a small house on Little Duck Pond in Windham, Maine and had a very intimate, casual party. They had their ceremony right on the water and had the reception in a tent in front of the house. It was awesome – everyone gathered together in the woods, surrounded by nature, just smiling and laughing and enjoying the food and music!

This is Jillian & Clay! These two were initially contemplating an elopement to Costa Rica, but ended up deciding that the planning process was too daunting. They knew they were running the Portland Marathon on September 30th, and decided to get married the next day at Nubble Lighthouse in York Beach, Maine – about 10 minutes from where Jillian grew up! They had a very intimate celebration – about 10 people, right on the rocks, for a short ceremony, and then they headed to the York Harbor Inn for some drinks and dinner!
