This is Melissa & Scott! When Melissa first contacted me (in June, only about 4 months before the wedding!), she described the wedding of my dreams. Held in a quirky, awesome venue; lots of DIY details; a DJ willing to play a mix of 80’s, soul, and whatever else they wanted; invitations from Etsy with records on them; margaritas; make-your-own fajitas; cupcakes… basically, I couldn’t say YES fast enough! The day itself was amazing. It started raining/snowing right when we arrived, so there was this unexpectedly cozy atmosphere for the whole evening. This is Melissa & Colin! Melissa first contacted me in mid-2010 about their wedding. Her and Colin have one of the cutest (and most fateful!) meeting stories I’ve ever heard. Back in 2007, Melissa called out of work “sick” and went to visit her Mom at her job at a small cafe. Her Mom mentioned that some guys had been in earlier and chatted with her, and that one of them (not Colin) asked if she had a daughter.
