This is Tiff & Dave! They were married (and live) in Rhode Island, but they were super excited to come up to Maine for their November engagement session! We met in Portland and wandered around for a bit before heading to Fort Williams in Cape Elizabeth! It was gorgeous — not too cold at all — and while there weren’t many leaves left on the trees, there were a ton on the ground! I’ll take it! 😉

This is Rachel & Derek! They were married in August 2012, but we did their engagement session in the colder months! It was important to them that we incorporate some harbor and boats into their photos, but birch trees were also meaningful to them (and very prominent at their wedding!). We decided to start the shoot in the Old Port in Portland, Maine, and then finish it up at Fort Williams in Cape Elizabeth to get the best of both worlds!
