Jess & Erik’s Smolak Farms wedding was basically the definition of fun — a ceremony in the sunshine, s’mores, and so much dancing! If you remember their Allagash Brewing Company engagement session, it should come as no surprise that these two are incredibly down-to-earth people who love a good time. Jess found me because a friend of hers attended the Plumbing Museum wedding I photographed back in 2013! This is Hilary & Don! The two of them had a pretty whirlwind experience getting together — meeting through friends, becoming friends themselves, and getting together… but then Don got deployed to Iraq. It was a long wait, but Hilary said they were back together within a couple months of his arrival, despite neither of them thinking they had a chance with the other. He proposed to her on New Year’s Eve 2010, and they had a quick 10 month engagement before celebrating on their wedding day!
