This Maine backyard wedding in Parsonsfield was even more magical than I expected it to be — Hannah & Adam are absolute GEMS. These two live and work in South Africa as part of the C.A.R.E. program — they rehabilitate chacma baboons! So they were planning VERY long distance, and with the help of family. I was lucky enough to not only meet them on one of their trips back to the US, but to do their engagement photos on another trip (they did them on Cliff Island since Adam spent summers there as a kid and his family still owns several houses out there!). These family portraits at Fort Williams Park were so perfect, especially with that amazing foliage — nowhere does it like Maine! Amanda had done a photoshoot with me several years ago, so I was thrilled when she got back in touch for photos of her three amazing kids. They were done as a surprise for her husband as well as the kids’ grandparents — such a great idea!
