This is Ashley & Justin! Ashley found me on A Practical Wedding and I loved hearing about their Portland, Maine wedding plans. Their story is all over the place — they met in Las Vegas and were living in Pennsylvania, but Ashley had family in Maine so they decided to do the wedding close to home! They initially had a different wedding date and we almost thought things wouldn’t work out… but they ended up changing it to October 19th. It was meant to be! This is Helen & Sean! Helen found me on Offbeat Bride and I could immediately tell how laid-back and relaxed her and Sean are. Firstly, they were planning the wedding long distance… very long distance, from Cambodia! They met in New Hampshire and lived there for a couple years before moving abroad, so it’s a special place for them. They chose the Cottage by the Bay in Dover — a beautiful venue sort of hidden in plain sight, with two acres of landscaped grounds and gardens for the ceremony and/or portraits.
