Nancy found herself newly single and was wanting to try out the online dating world… but first, she needed updated photos! I love doing headshots for this purpose, personally. So many folks need headshots for work or for their LinkedIn, but having nice photos for your online presence isn’t only limited to business reasons. We explored around downtown Portland and grabbed some great photos in different spots we loved. So much fun, and I think she looks so happy!

These casual head shots in downtown Portland, Maine were so fun to take — Shelley is such a relaxed, laid-back person and awesome to talk to. She got in touch about doing head shots as part of branding for herself to start teaching yoga in classes, retreats, and at schools. She wanted photos that were a bit different from the standard yoga teacher portraits with more of a focus on an urban environment, brick, graffiti, things like that. So we met in downtown Portland and just walked around a bit looking for spots that inspired us!
