This, my friends, is Alexandra & Scott. An absolutely beautiful couple who were married at The Portland Club back in November! They had both their ceremony and reception there, so it was an easy day as far as travel goes. I actually grew up in Portland (and only live 15 minutes away), so that’s always a good thing! Alexandra was a beautiful bride, and amazingly relaxed beforehand. It’s not often that I see brides so laid-back and calm! We actually did the family formals upstairs in the hallway, and they are some of my favorite formals to date — though I guess it helps that their entire family is gorgeous!…

Where do I even begin? Jen & Justin are one of the most laid-back, hilarious, badass couples I’ve ever met. We did their engagement shoot just a couple days before their actual wedding, but I felt like I’d known them for years. They were married at First Parish Church (Unitarian Universalist) in Portland, Maine, and the reception was in the gorgeous Eastland Park Hotel. We did formals both before and after the ceremony in the charming little garden adjacent to the church and it was the perfect spot… filled with nature, and the cutest little red bench!
