This Higgins Beach family session with Melissa & John and their amazing family was awesome, especially with some moody fog! Melissa & John live in San Francisco but they were in town on vacation and we were able to get together on a beautiful, foggy morning for some photos! We had the two of them with their baby son (who had some of the best expressions ever), plus Melissa’s sister, her daughter, and their parents! This is Alisa & Kim! You might remember them from their apple orchard engagement session. They won a wedding photography contest I held in celebration of DOMA being defeated — yipee! Their wedding took place at Broken Acres Farm in Jefferson, Maine — a sweet little spot nestled in about 100 acres of gorgeous Maine scenery. It was a grey day but luckily the rain stopped early on and we were treated to some gorgeous fog (and blue skies later on!).
