Stephanie actually found me because she had seen another engagement session I photographed at Allagash Brewing Company here in Portland, Jess & Erik’s! These two live down in Massachusetts and Rob actually works at Night Shift himself, so they wanted to incorporate that love of beer into their photos. This Kettle Cove proposal was the absolute sweetest — I love how much thought and planning went into making it perfect! Whitman got in touch with me several months in advance to set this up. He was living in Pittsburgh with his girlfriend, Therez. She was finishing up her doctorate and then they planned to move to Biddeford, Maine, so Whitman could attend medical school. What Therez didn’t know is that, during the trip to Maine to move his things, there would be a surprise wedding proposal!
