This is Laura & Daniel! They actually eloped to Washington, D.C. in December 2011, but wanted to have a bigger celebration with family and friends. They rented a small house on Little Duck Pond in Windham, Maine and had a very intimate, casual party. They had their ceremony right on the water and had the reception in a tent in front of the house. It was awesome – everyone gathered together in the woods, surrounded by nature, just smiling and laughing and enjoying the food and music!

This is Jess & Ben! When Jess first contacted me, she mentioned that part of the reason they liked me is because they’re also geeks who have cats… WIN! She also described their very DIY plan for the wedding, and how most of the decor/theme was built off their invitations, which were inspired by the fate that brought them together. The only reason Jess decided to go out with Ben was because he liked a band that she liked (The Decemberists), so she chose an invitation that would be similar to some of their album artwork.
