Where do I even begin? Jen & Justin are one of the most laid-back, hilarious, badass couples I’ve ever met. We did their engagement shoot just a couple days before their actual wedding, but I felt like I’d known them for years. They were married at First Parish Church (Unitarian Universalist) in Portland, Maine, and the reception was in the gorgeous Eastland Park Hotel. We did formals both before and after the ceremony in the charming little garden adjacent to the church and it was the perfect spot… filled with nature, and the cutest little red bench! Nancy and Robby had one of the sweetest, most natural weddings I’ve ever been to. They were married at Channing Memorial Church in Newport, Rhode Island, which was absolutely stunning. It was a super short ceremony — so short, in fact, that I couldn’t believe it when it was over! No offense to traditional church ceremonies with the full mass, but… lightning fast ceremonies are where it’s at. 🙂 AND, the woman who officiated totally used an iPad to read from. Technology! We then headed to the Glen Manor House in Portsmouth, Rhode Island, for the reception. This house was fantastic… huge, beautiful gardens behind it and overlooking the water.…
