These mother and daughter photos in Cape Elizabeth, Maine — with the most perfect, golden light — are among my favorites of all time! Anna was visiting Maine with her two daughters, June and Grace. She wanted to get some quintessential Maine photos so we, of course, met at Fort Williams in Cape Elizabeth to capture not only Portland Head Light but also the gorgeous ocean views it offers! We got the most beautiful weather, golden sunset light, and we had so much fun talking and laughing. Anna is just the definition of warmth and her girls have clearly taken after her with their kind, sweet selves!

This Kettle Cove proposal was the absolute sweetest — I love how much thought and planning went into making it perfect! Whitman got in touch with me several months in advance to set this up. He was living in Pittsburgh with his girlfriend, Therez. She was finishing up her doctorate and then they planned to move to Biddeford, Maine, so Whitman could attend medical school. What Therez didn’t know is that, during the trip to Maine to move his things, there would be a surprise wedding proposal!
