These Bailey Island engagement photos with Alex & Sean were filled with so much nervous giggling… it was infectious, really! We had originally planned to do their engagement session in the Portland area, but as soon as Alex mentioned loving the Land’s End area of Bailey Island — in Harpswell, Maine — I was SO on board. It’s such a gorgeous area, so classic Maine, that I was excited to explore a bit with them. This is Laurin & Phil, two of the sweetest people I’ve ever met! The two of them met in Spain (Phil is British/Spanish) while Laurin was studying abroad. They ultimately knew they wanted to incorporate some of their roots into the wedding… Spain for Phil, and Maine for Laurin! They had a unique situation, planning their wedding primarily from the UK, but they totally pulled it off (with much help from Laurin’s parents in Brunswick!).
