Cliff Island Engagement Session

This Cliff Island engagement session was basically everything I could hope for in a photoshoot — fun, laid-back, natural, and surrounded by nature! I was so excited to meet these two. Hannah had been in touch about their wedding — which sounded amazing — and then she mentioned they might want to do their engagement session on Cliff Island and I just about squealed out loud. Cliff Island is an island off the coast of Maine, a bit over an hour by ferry from Portland. Adam’s family has several houses out there, so it was not only a special location to them but one just filled with the beauty and charm that comes with a small Maine island. We got to take a golf cart around to hit all of the good spots — including getting photos at his familys’ homes, of course — AND we got to spend time with his mom, who is so energetic and fun it’s downright infectious. I think some of my favorites from the day were the ones I took while we waited for the ferry back to Portland, just the three of them spending time together. 🙂
