Meaghan and Mike are the sweetest couple ever. I knew right away that I was going to love their wedding when I first started talking with Meaghan months ago. You could just tell that she was not only a total sweetheart but very smart and mature and put together — meeting her (and Mike) was no different! They are both very young and very obviously in love. Melissa contacted me a while back about doing a “cake smash” shoot for her daughter, Anna, right before her 1st birthday. I was thrilled, because not only do I love kids (especially chubby little babies!) but I’d never done a cake smash shoot before and was excited to try it out! It is exactly what it sounds like: you set the child down in front of a cake and let them smash the heck out of it.
