This is Nicole and Ryan! Nicole found me on Offbeat Bride and wanted me to do their engagement photos, since a childhood friend was photographing their wedding in Connecticut. She described them both as “dorks” (my favorite kind of people!), him being a math teacher and her being a documentary filmmaker. Boston Public Gardens Elopement with Jasmine & Brian | 08.18.11
This Boston Public Gardens elopement was so sweet, intimate, and personal — I absolutely love having the honor of being present for days like this! They traveled from California to Boston for their wedding – just the two of them (plus me and the officiant!). They rented a brownstone in the South End and that’s where we met for some getting ready photos and pre-ceremony portraits (as well as a First Look!).
