Willard Beach Family Session in South Portland, Maine | Annie & Frank!
I loved photographing Annie & Frank and their four beautiful children at Willard Beach in South Portland! It was a perfect family session in the sense that we spent very little time posing anyone and instead opted to let the kids play and be themselves. With a large family, especially with several small children, it’s tough to ask for more than a small handful of posed shots — but they were SO happy and lively and loving exploring the beach and surrounding areas, so we got some really beautiful photos. 🙂 Annie and Frank were happy to explore as well, and some of my favorite captures were completely candid!

Portland Company Complex Family Session | Heidi & Dane!
I loved this Portland Company Complex family session with Heidi, her boyfriend Dane, and her 7-year-old son, Jaxon! The area around the Portland Company Complex is one of my favorites in Portland because it just has an awesome mix of settings in such a small space. I am a sucker for any more urban, industrial settings — gimme that brick, those metal garage doors, that peeling paint, those hints of graffiti! But you’re also just a stone’s throw from a gorgeous ocean view as well as part of the Eastern Promenade Trail, which has lots of nature and trees, too.
