Family Photos on Mackworth Island with Happy & Bryan!

These family photos on Mackworth Island were so great — Happy & Bryan were the sweetest, and their son, George, had the BEST time exploring! Happy was pregnant with their second child at the time, so this doubled as a family session and a sort of maternity session at the same time. 🙂 They chose Mackworth Island for a location — a tiny island connected to Falmouth by a causeway — which is one of my favorite spots in southern Maine. Despite the fact that you’re so close to both Portland and Falmouth, it feels very secluded out there, and the natural beauty is just breathtaking. There are ocean views at every point on the path, with several rocky beaches to walk down on, as well as beautiful woodsy areas in the center. We had fun walking the full loop around and George I think had the best time of all. 🙂
