This is Mary & Nick! They found me via Casey & Nate, another wonderful couple whose wedding I photographed in June 2011. Mary and Nick planned their wedding primarily from California — no easy feat — and they planned an absolutely gorgeous day. Their ceremony was at Bowdoin Chapel in Brunswick, Maine – a small but stunning chapel right on the Bowdoin campus (which happens to be a wonderful spot for portraits!). We then headed to Sebasco Harbor Resort in Phippsburg for their reception — an absolutely perfect spot to take advantage of the gorgeous Maine coast. Boston Public Gardens Elopement with Jasmine & Brian | 08.18.11
This Boston Public Gardens elopement was so sweet, intimate, and personal — I absolutely love having the honor of being present for days like this! They traveled from California to Boston for their wedding – just the two of them (plus me and the officiant!). They rented a brownstone in the South End and that’s where we met for some getting ready photos and pre-ceremony portraits (as well as a First Look!).
