Ellen + Larry | Married! 07.05.14 | Backyard Wedding

This is Ellen & Larry! You might remember them from their adorable farm engagement session. 🙂 Ellen found me on A Practical Wedding and as soon as she mentioned that the wedding would be at her parents’ home in Essex, Vermont, I was sold. I absolutely LOVE Vermont — some of my favorite memories of all time are from spending weekends at my grandparents’ old house in Poultney, so any excuse to go visit is okay with me! It was such a special day — Ellen lived at this house as a child so it was an especially meaningful location to her, and I just loved seeing her childhood photos around the house as they got ready. The ceremony was outside by a small pond and the tented reception was full of laughter and dancing (especially by the kids!). They had nerdy table names (including references to Star Trek and Mario Kart — yes!), lots of wild flowers, and DIY touches everywhere!
