Wannamoisett Country Club Wedding

This Wannamoisett Country Club wedding in Rumford, Rhode Island was such a fun time to meet new folks and reconnect with old! Anne found me through good ol’ word of mouth — I had photographed her brother, Matt’s, safari-themed wedding a while back, so I was thrilled to be celebrating with their family again! Anne and Kellen met attending the same concert in Boston — he was there with some co-workers and friends, one of whom happened to be an old friend of Anne’s. They were introduced and spent the whole night dancing and hanging out. She saw him again later that summer at a friend’s cookout, and they realized it was time to finally start dating. 🙂 They moved to Virginia together when Kellen got a teaching job there, and he proposed to her just a few weeks after they got their own place. While they were planning from a distance, they knew they wanted to get married in Rhode Island since their whole lives are there, so Wannamoisett Country Club in Rumford it was! They had an amazing day — it’s obvious that their love for each other is strong, and they focused the whole day on just having fun and keeping everyone feeling relaxed and happy. So great!
