2013: Wedding Portraits!
One of my last 2013 recap posts… WEDDING PORTRAITS! This is one of my favorite parts of the wedding day. One of the only chances for the couple to be alone together and just let it sink in that they’re about to get married, or that they just got married (depending on when you do your solo portraits!). It’s a time filled with giddy laughter and excitement, and it makes for some of the most excellent photos! Here’s some of my favorites from this year…

This is Liz & Joe! Liz first got in touch with me last year to chat about their Millinocket wedding. I was super excited — I had never been to Millinocket before, but I’d heard many times about its beauty. She booked me (yay!) and we wound up doing their engagement photos a little further south at Fort Williams in Cape Elizabeth. It was still early in the spring, so not a ton of color out, but I actually love that — the neutral colors of the background really let the subjects pop! Liz was super nervous at first but Joe made sure to keep her laughing the whole time.…
