This is Heidi and Mike, two AWESOME parents who I got to spend the morning with back in June (of 2011… wow, I am behind with blog posts!). They have three amazing boys who also came along to the shoot, and we basically just spent the morning playing at Willard Beach in South Portland, Maine. How lucky am I? At the time, they lived right down the street from Willard Beach, so it was an obvious choice for their family session location. This is Emily and Jesse! They had a very laid-back and fun wedding day, making sure they were surrounded by their friends and family and people who made them laugh the most. Emily got ready at her parents’ home in South Portland, which definitely added to the low-key feeling of the day, and had her best guy friend as her Man of Honor, which I think is just awesome. They started at the Cape Elizabeth United Methodist Church (gorgeous both inside and out), where they had a beautiful ceremony and where Emily’s parents’ dog was the “ring bearer” (but mostly just slept in the aisle!).
