This is Erika & Eric! I actually met Erika while volunteering at Planned Parenthood — she’s one of their volunteer coordinators! We met during my initial interview and actually worked together during a few shifts — I helped out for a while during my slower season and was a clinic escort, something I have ALWAYS wanted to do. Eric works at Planned Parenthood as well, so I had also seen him around. They originally planned to have a summer 2014 wedding, but had to move it up for various reasons, and were suddenly looking for a photographer QUICK. Caroline + Silas | Engaged! | Portland, Maine Engagement Session | Maine Engagement Photographer
This is Caroline & Silas! They’re getting married this August and their reception will be at the Ocean Gateway in Portland, so it only seemed appropriate to meet there as the starting point for their engagement session! The session almost didn’t happen — rain was threatening to ruin our plans — but amazingly enough it stayed away, and it was an awesome shoot! We wandered around Portland towards the end of Commercial St, by the train cars and heading towards the East End Beach. They were SO much fun to photograph, and hilarious in front of the camera, constantly cracking each other up and randomly breaking into dance. 🙂
