This is Jillian & Clay! These two were initially contemplating an elopement to Costa Rica, but ended up deciding that the planning process was too daunting. They knew they were running the Portland Marathon on September 30th, and decided to get married the next day at Nubble Lighthouse in York Beach, Maine – about 10 minutes from where Jillian grew up! They had a very intimate celebration – about 10 people, right on the rocks, for a short ceremony, and then they headed to the York Harbor Inn for some drinks and dinner! Caroline + Silas | Engaged! | Portland, Maine Engagement Session | Maine Engagement Photographer
This is Caroline & Silas! They’re getting married this August and their reception will be at the Ocean Gateway in Portland, so it only seemed appropriate to meet there as the starting point for their engagement session! The session almost didn’t happen — rain was threatening to ruin our plans — but amazingly enough it stayed away, and it was an awesome shoot! We wandered around Portland towards the end of Commercial St, by the train cars and heading towards the East End Beach. They were SO much fun to photograph, and hilarious in front of the camera, constantly cracking each other up and randomly breaking into dance. 🙂
