This is Heather & David! Heather found me on Offbeat Bride and excitedly told me all about their “destination” wedding (they live in New Jersey but got married in Portland). Right away I knew we would make a good match — she seemed to be just as bubbly and enthusiastic as me. 🙂 We met at Fort Williams Park in Cape Elizabeth for their engagement session and it was a gorgeous day. David was a little bit camera shy but I think he warmed up — it’s hard not to feel happy and comfortable with Heather’s huge smile around! 🙂

This is Kristian & Teddy! Kristian found me on Offbeat Bride and as soon as I heard about their laid-back, rustic, DIY wedding… I wanted in. 🙂 I just photographed their wedding a couple weeks ago, but these photos are from their Fort Williams Park engagement session! They were both pretty nervous to be in front of the camera, Kristian especially, but we laughed so much that I think she forgot she was being photographed. 😉 They have been together for 10 years, so the comfortability and love between them was so obvious. They also brought along their pup who hopped in for a few photos… love that!!
