Tasha Does Hair and I paired up for a collaboration on these photos and holy damn, it was SO MUCH freaking fun. Oh, these amazing ladies. The brains behind this shoot — Tasha Judson — is my badass hair stylist. She works at Kutz Inc. in Portland now and she’s awesome at everything she does. She wanted to collaborate on another shoot, this time with more of a dark, mermaid-y sea witch theme, and I was SO on board. This is Cathy & Jon! Cathy found me on Offbeat Bride and when she started describing her wedding to me — telling me all about Jon designing their paper goods, Cathy incorporating her love of fiber (knitting, felting, and weaving), and just their generally laid-back outlook on the whole day — I was so psyched to be on board! They came up to Portland for their engagement session and to meet with me, and we had an awesome time exploring around near the East End (and found some KILLER graffiti to boot!).
