This is Katie & Joel! They returned to their home state of Maine in 2007 for Joel to attend law school, and couldn’t think of a more perfect place to have their wedding. They had their ceremony at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Portland, Maine, and did something a bit unique. Their ceremony ended around 2:00pm, but their reception, at The Portland Club (one of my all-time favorite spots in the Portland area!), didn’t start until 5:00pm. This, my friends, is Kate and Kyle. Kate and I have known each other since highschool and I was honored to photograph their wedding this past December. They were married at The Portland Club right on State St in Portland, Maine (just like Alexandra and Scott!) and it’s quickly becoming one of my favorite venues.
