These Old Port engagement photos were so sweet and fun — these two are the sweetest and it was an honor to connect with them during their trip! They live down in Massachusetts but wanted to head up to Portland for a weekend and get some engagement photos done while they were here. We ended up choosing the Old Port — kind of the bustling heart of Portland — to do them. It’s pretty quintessentially Maine on its own, but we headed over to East End Beach for the last bit to get some ocean views in there, too! What’s better than a little bit of dancing on a dock?

These Old Port engagement photos were so perfect with the golden sunset light, and made even better by them bringing their sweet pup along! They were planning to be married out of state, but wanted their engagement photos in the heart of the city. No better place than the Old Port! We got a perfectly warm summer day and just wandered around the Commercial Street area for some casual, fun photos. Their big ol’ dog was the hit of the whole session — everyone walking by wanted to pet him!
