This is Caroline & Silas! They’re getting married this August and their reception will be at the Ocean Gateway in Portland, so it only seemed appropriate to meet there as the starting point for their engagement session! The session almost didn’t happen — rain was threatening to ruin our plans — but amazingly enough it stayed away, and it was an awesome shoot! We wandered around Portland towards the end of Commercial St, by the train cars and heading towards the East End Beach. They were SO much fun to photograph, and hilarious in front of the camera, constantly cracking each other up and randomly breaking into dance. 🙂

This is Tricia & Leon! Tricia and Leon actually met in high school back in 1999… so sweet! They ended up going to the same college together at UMass Dartmouth and Leon proposed to Tricia on Christmas Eve 2009 at Tricia’s family’s house, right after they had told their family they were expecting the birth of their baby girl, Rayne. 🙂 They chose to celebrate at Oceanview in Nahant, Massachusetts, which is a GORGEOUS venue!
