This Cambridge, Massachusetts wedding at Harvest was beautiful — it had the feel of the city while also being incredibly laid-back and relaxed! They incorporated many Jewish traditions into the day for both sides of their family, such as signing the ketubah before the ceremony and breaking the glass, which was awesome to see. It was unique in the sense that it was a brunch wedding, and, as Rachel put it, “more offbeat in simplicity and subtleties” — they had animal-themed table numbers along with wonderfully interesting florals by Moonstone & Moss, paper cranes, amazing vegetarian food, and lots of wild dancing! Jess & Erik’s Smolak Farms Wedding!
Jess & Erik’s Smolak Farms wedding was basically the definition of fun — a ceremony in the sunshine, s’mores, and so much dancing! If you remember their Allagash Brewing Company engagement session, it should come as no surprise that these two are incredibly down-to-earth people who love a good time. Jess found me because a friend of hers attended the Plumbing Museum wedding I photographed back in 2013!
