This Cape Elizabeth, Maine elopement at the Inn by the Sea was fantastic — Jessica and Stewart are one of the greatest, most relaxed couples ever! Not to be biased or anything, but… they’re one of my favorite couples ever. I first heard from Jessica back in June of 2010 and she sounded like my twin… then we met in July and confirmed it. At the time she was planning a full-on destination wedding — in the Caribbean and everything! Okay, Shellee and Nick were technically married on November 5th in the Bahamas… but they decided to have a reception at home for all of their friends and family who weren’t present at the actual wedding! It was interesting to ONLY have the reception to cover — no ceremony, no exchanging of rings, no readings. JUST the party! They held their celebration at the Wyndham in South Portland — only about 15 minutes from home for me — and it was a blast! They had Christmas-themed decorations, which I was in love with.
