This is Christy & Brad! They’re from the Kansas City area but Christy’s sister lives in Biddeford, Maine, and they fell in love with Kennebunkport during one of their visits to see her, so they planned to come up this way for their wedding! They had booked The Colony Hotel for their wedding day and wanted to do the shoot around the same area since they love it so much. This is Ilona & Chris! They had initially wanted to do their engagement on a lobster boat — there’s several tours out of Portland — but we weren’t able to make it work with our schedules, so we settled with staying near the water in both downtown Portland and Fort Williams Park in Cape Elizabeth! We did the shoot in mid-April which — true to Maine weather — was still quite cold, hence why they’re wearing hats and winter coats. 😉 But we got some GORGEOUS photos and had so much fun!
