This, my friends, is Kate and Kyle. Kate and I have known each other since highschool and I was honored to photograph their wedding this past December. They were married at The Portland Club right on State St in Portland, Maine (just like Alexandra and Scott!) and it’s quickly becoming one of my favorite venues. It’s just very cute and homey… you feel all warm and fuzzy when you’re in there, especially when it’s all decked out in Christmas decorations. Very cozy. Okay, Shellee and Nick were technically married on November 5th in the Bahamas… but they decided to have a reception at home for all of their friends and family who weren’t present at the actual wedding! It was interesting to ONLY have the reception to cover — no ceremony, no exchanging of rings, no readings. JUST the party!
