Jenn and I have known each other for a long while — amazingly enough I actually responded to an ad she had on Craigslist looking for someone to photograph a Suicide Girls shoot for her! That was way back in 2010 (holy crap!) and we’ve been in touch ever since — I’d consider us more friends than working partners at this point. 🙂 I had heard about Scott here and there, but they were just friends for a long time until finally that romantic spark took over, so I was SO HONORED when Jenn asked me to photograph their wedding day. This is Alisa & Kim! They won a wedding photography contest I held in celebration of DOMA being defeated and I was SO excited to work with them! Alisa is actually also a local photographer and Kim is a trained chef, so they combine two of my greatest loves. 🙂 We had originally hoped to do their engagement session at a vineyard but when that didn’t work out, Alisa had the idea to meet at Wallingfords Orchard in Auburn, which was awesome!
