These Bailey Island engagement photos with Alex & Sean were filled with so much nervous giggling… it was infectious, really! We had originally planned to do their engagement session in the Portland area, but as soon as Alex mentioned loving the Land’s End area of Bailey Island — in Harpswell, Maine — I was SO on board. It’s such a gorgeous area, so classic Maine, that I was excited to explore a bit with them. This is Heather & Donny! These two, and their wedding day, are SO right up my alley. A music teacher (Donny) and a science graduate student (Heather), both very outdoorsy, into good beer and good food, and planning a wedding that is, in Heather’s words, “fun, casual and not take it-self too seriously”. Yes! Heather’s parents have a house in South Harpswell and she had been going there for years in the summers, so the area was an obvious choice for them.
